Sway Sourcing Sweden Aktiebolag is hiring a **Senior Sourcing & Contracts Manager** based in either Stockholm or Luleå. Supporting a large-scale industrial transformation project, the position runs from November 2026 through December 2027. Working within a dedicated procurement and contracting team alongside project managers, legal specialists, and external contractors, the role focuses on procurement activities for **construction and infrastructure projects**. Core responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, conducting supplier assessments and RFx processes, performing commercial bid evaluations, leading contract negotiations, managing handovers, and identifying commercial risks to drive cost optimisation and continuous process improvements. Applicants need demonstrated experience managing both commercial and technical aspects of construction or infrastructure projects, alongside solid expertise in commercial agreements, contractual terms, and contract preparation. **Hands-on experience with RFx processes and tender evaluations** is required, as are strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Advantageous qualifications include knowledge of capital equipment and construction material procurement, experience with Total Cost of Ownership principles, familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environment standards, and past involvement in business transformation or continuous operational improvement initiatives.
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager for a large-scale industrial transformation project in Sweden.
In this role, you will lead procurement activities for construction and infrastructure projects, covering everything from sourcing strategies and supplier evaluations to tendering, contract negotiations, and contract handovers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to support project objectives.
- Manage supplier assessments, RFx processes, tender evaluations, and bid analysis.
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Identify commercial risks and drive cost optimisation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate contract handovers and support efficient project execution.
- Prepare procurement recommendations and decision-making materials for management.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in procurement processes and practices.
You will collaborate closely with project teams, legal specialists, contract managers, and external partners to ensure efficient procurement and successful project delivery.

Requirements
- Demonstrated experience handling commercial and technical responsibilities within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Solid knowledge of commercial agreements, contractual terms, and contract preparation.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, contractors, and external suppliers.
- Strong leadership capabilities combined with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities across different functions.
- Hands-on experience with RFx processes, tender assessments, quotation evaluations, and commercial bid analysis.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of procurement related to capital equipment, construction materials, and installation or construction work packages.
- Experience applying Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles and value-based procurement analysis.
- Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards relevant to construction procurement.
- Previous involvement in business transformation initiatives, operational improvement projects, or continuous improvement programmes.
