Surely Sci & Tech AB is seeking a **Senior Verification Engineer** specializing in lithium-ion battery cell testing, based in Huskvarna, Sweden. This is a full-time, 40-hour work week position that requires **100% on-site laboratory presence**, offered as a permanent role with conditions applying. Working as part of a Test & Verification team and collaborating with colleagues in Sweden and Germany, the engineer is responsible for characterizing and benchmarking battery cells from different suppliers and chemistries. Key duties include hands-on laboratory testing, developing test methods, operating data acquisition tools, analyzing test results, identifying deviations, and preparing detailed reports to support cell selection, sourcing, and early-stage product design. Candidates must hold a **B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics or a related field**, alongside at least three years of laboratory engineering or equivalent hands-on technical experience. Essential skills include proficiency with equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and temperature loggers, as well as strong troubleshooting abilities and fluent written and spoken English. Experience or a strong interest in lithium-ion battery technology, prior battery testing and characterization, and experience in international engineering environments are considered meritorious. We are looking for a Senior Verification Engineer / Lab Engineer specializing in 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘂𝗺-𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴.

You will be part of a Test & Verification team responsible for characterizing and benchmarking battery cells and supporting early-stage product development and cell selection.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

🔹 Benchmark and compare different cell suppliers and chemistries

🔹 Support sourcing and product design decisions through testing and data

🔹 Participate in early-stage development projects

🔹 Develop and maintain battery cell test methods

🔹 Perform hands-on laboratory testing and data collection

🔹 Analyze test results and identify deviations or unexpected behavior

🔹 Prepare structured and detailed test reports

🔹 Support continuous improvement initiatives within Test & Verification

🔹 Collaborate with teams in Sweden and Germany

𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁-𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀

✅ B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics or related field

✅ Minimum 3 years of laboratory engineering or similar hands-on technical experience

✅ Experience with data acquisition and laboratory equipment

✅ Oscilloscope, multimeter, temperature logger, etc.

✅ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

✅ Excellent attention to detail and precision

✅ Strong written and verbal communication

✅ Good teamwork and international collaboration skills

✅ Proficient English – written and spoken
