Visma Proceedo AB is seeking a **Software developer** to join its Procurement Team, contributing to large-scale SaaS workflows handling purchases, requisitions, orders, and supplier interactions. The position combines **test automation and full stack development**, with initial duties focusing on automated testing alongside smaller development tasks before progressing to broader features. Daily work involves building and maintaining solutions across the front and back end, writing automated tests, and collaborating within an agile team to improve code quality, processes, and technical architecture. Candidates should hold a relevant degree, such as a **bachelor's in computer science or equivalent**, and possess a few years of hands-on development experience. Practical familiarity with Java, Angular, agile methodologies, object-oriented programming, REST, and Git is required, together with a demonstrated interest in AI and new technologies. Familiarity with writing automated tests is expected, with experience using RestAssured considered an advantage. An external background check is required during recruitment and will be conducted with the applicant's consent.
As a Software developer in our Procurement Team, you’ll play a key role in improving one of the most business critical parts of Proceedo. the flow where thousands of users create, manage, and confirm their purchases every day. What you’ll do
To continue developing and improving our service, we are now looking for a full stack developer to join our Procurement Team. A typical week mixes front-end and back-end development, along with smart test automation.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain features in both Java and Angular
- Write automated tests using the Java RestAssured
- Contribute to key flows in Proceedo such as requisitions, orders, confirmations, and supplier interactions
- Collaborate closely with your teammates to deliver stable, scalable solutions
- Continuously improve our processes, code base, and technical foundations
You’ll start by focusing on automated tests and smaller development tasks—supported by the team—before taking on broader and more complex areas.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a developer with a few years of hands-on development experience who wants to grow into a full-fledged full stack developer.
You have:
- Experience working with Java and angular
- Experience working in agile teams and with modern development tools (Git, REST, OOP)
- A relevant education, such as a bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent)
- A proven interest in AI and curiosity about new tools and technologies
- Familiarity with writing automated tests (RestAssured is a plus)
You don't need to know everything from day one, we are looking for a colleague with a curiosity, the ability to learn quickly, and a drive to build high-quality software.
