Codic Consulting AB is recruiting a **Software Developer Consultant** based in Gothenburg to deliver software solutions for major technology clients across sectors such as aviation and automotive. Working on varied client assignments tailored to individual expertise and interests, the position involves software development, cloud technologies, system integrations, and modern system architectures. The employment is covered by Swedish collective agreements, and the firm provides **relocation support** with practical and administrative assistance for qualified applicants moving from outside Sweden. Applicants must have **at least five years of professional experience** in software engineering and hold professional proficiency in English. Candidates should ideally bring experience across several relevant areas, such as programming in Python, Java, or C#/.NET, backend development, APIs, microservices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), databases, and DevOps tools including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD within agile frameworks. Prior background in the automotive or aviation sectors is considered an advantage rather than a strict requirement.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for experienced software developers with at least five years of professional experience.
Ideally, you have experience in several of the following areas:
- Software development using Python, Java, or C#/.NET
- Backend development, APIs, and system integrations
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Microservices and distributed systems
- Databases and data management
- Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
- Agile software development
Experience from industries such as aviation or automotive is considered an advantage but is not required.
We value technical curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
Professional proficiency in English is required.
