Eccoci AB is hiring a **Software Engineer** for a consultant role based in Malmö. Working within multi-functional teams on high-profile projects, the position focuses on creating, maintaining, and enhancing customer-facing web services. Core responsibilities include managing authentication, authorization, service availability, and scaling, as well as implementing spam control measures. The work also involves optimizing Java performance, tuning web services, utilizing data storage and caching solutions, writing REST-based services, and integrating CI/CD tools alongside automation testing management. Applicants must have at least **five years of proven programming experience**, with strong expertise in Java—specifically Core Java, multithreading, and non-blocking I/O—as well as knowledge of and experience with Golang. Candidates are required to have experience building customer-facing web services and writing REST-based services using Netty or similar frameworks. Further qualifications include proficiency in API definition, Java performance tuning, solid knowledge of **CI/CD tools and full automation testing**, and familiarity with caching and data storage technologies such as Cassandra, Redis, and memcached. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are also required.

Key Requirements
