Surgical Science Sweden AB · Göteborg · Tills vidare · Deadline 2027-02-26

Surgical Science Sweden AB is hiring a **Sourcing Lead, EU and Americas** to join its Operations leadership team at company headquarters in Gothenburg. The position oversees the regional supply chain supporting the manufacturing of medical simulation technology across European and non-APAC markets. Responsibilities include designing and executing regional sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, qualifying and managing suppliers, and driving diversification to mitigate component risks. Working cross-functionally with R&D, production, and finance, the position supports hybrid work flexibility and involves **frequent travel**, primarily within Europe alongside occasional trips to other global destinations. Candidates must have **5–8 years of procurement or sourcing experience**, ideally in manufacturing or hardware-focused environments, with a proven track record in supplier relationship management and negotiations. The role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to establish new structures and processes, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and comfort with procurement tools. Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken, is required, while Swedish is considered a plus. Desirable qualifications include a background in medical devices, electronics, or complex hardware and software products, experience with supplier qualification in regulated industries, familiarity with supply chain risk frameworks, and prior team leadership experience.

Surgical Science is a global organisation and leading provider of medical training simulations and software solutions. Surgical Science is listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Market.

Together with healthcare partners and customers in more than 90 countries, we enhance patient safety and healthcare outcomes through evidence-based, state-of-the-art simulation technology that improves clinical proficiency and performance - enabling safe and effective training without putting patients at risk.

Our solutions are used by medical training centres, universities, hospitals, and the medical device industry for practice, assessment, and certification.

With offices in Gothenburg (HQ), Stockholm, Tel Aviv, Cleveland, Cardiff, Shenzhen and Hong Kong, we are a fast-growing and stable organisation in a rapidly evolving world. We foster a hybrid work culture that supports onsite and remote collaboration across teams and time zones.

The simulators that train tomorrow's surgeons need the right parts, from the right partners, at the right time. That's where you come in.

Surgical Science builds medical simulation technology used in operating rooms and training centers worldwide. Behind every haptic feedback device and surgical simulator is a supply chain that has to be as precise as the products themselves.

As our Sourcing Lead for EU and Americas, you'll own the supply chain for your region — building the supplier relationships and strategies that keep our production running and our quality standards uncompromised.

This is a senior role based at our headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden, and you'll be a key part of our Operations leadership team. You'll lead and work closely with colleagues in R&D, Production, and operations across multiple markets.
