Leadstar Media AB is seeking a **Team Captain/Manager** to lead one of its product teams within the sports betting affiliate industry. In this role, the manager oversees a team of Website Managers and Vice-Captains, taking ownership of their performance, regular evaluations, coaching, and development and salary talks. Responsibilities also include translating leadership strategy into execution across a portfolio of websites, shaping team ways of working, identifying recruitment needs, supporting onboarding, and representing the product department in company-wide initiatives. The position offers prospects to take on greater responsibilities and starts as soon as possible, accounting for the candidate's notice period. Candidates are expected to demonstrate **strong leadership and people development skills**, with the capacity to run a high-performing team and make clear decisions in complex or ambiguous situations. Job description
Your work tasks will include the following:
- Lead a team of Website Managers and Vice-Captains, ensuring strong individual and team performance
- Development and Salary talks
- Drive the company’s strategy, prioritization, and execution across a portfolio of websites
- Develop and grow team members through regular feedback, coaching, and evaluations
- Own the team’s contribution to department goals and company success
- Act as the link between the team and leadership - translating strategy into action
- Shape the team’s ways of working, focus, and culture
- Identify hiring needs and support onboarding of new team members
- Contribute to company-wide initiatives and represent Product at cross-department level
