Kemizares AB is recruiting a **Test Engineer - Automotive** for a full-time, permanent consultancy position based in the Gothenburg area, working with a leading automotive client. The role offers a flexible workplace alongside a fixed salary. Key responsibilities center on setting up bench rigs for test environments, handling vehicle ECU hardware connections across CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet, and performing electrical measurements using voltmeters and oscilloscopes. Work also involves engaging with diverse electrical architectures, programming in C#, and utilizing AI tools to support test case creation within agile workflows using JIRA. Candidates must hold a **technical high school diploma or a B.Sc. in Computer or Electronics Engineering** or a similar field, complemented by **several years of automotive industry experience**. Required qualifications include hands-on proficiency with bench rigs, communication protocols, vehicle ECUs, electrical measurement tools, and solid programming skills in C#, with industrial experience in Python also noted. Applicants must demonstrate strong analytical and structural abilities, a customer-oriented approach for an international environment, and fluent communication skills in spoken and written English.

To be sucessful in this role we see that you have several years of experience in Automotive industry, good communication skills and able to communicate fluently in English (speech and writing).

This job requires a person with hands-on experience with setting up Bench Rigs for test environments, ECU hardware connections on CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet. Electrical measurements will be part of your work, so we see that you have experience with voltmeter and oscilloscope. We see also that you have hands-on experience from different electrical arquitectures and also knowledge in C# programming.

Competence/skills
Technical high school diploma or B.Sc. Degree in Computer / Electronics Engineering or similar. You should also have industrial experiences from below areas:
