Academic Work is recruiting a **Test Lead** (Test Manager) on behalf of a global client. In this position, the core responsibilities involve **developing test strategies**, planning and executing testing activities, and leading active quality assurance and quality control to ensure systems meet internal and external standards and regulations. The role combines technical oversight with team coordination, requiring the lead to guide and support the team toward common goals while managing collaboration across both internal and external stakeholders. Applicants must have demonstrated experience in developing test strategies, executing testing activities, and handling quality control and quality assurance. **Experience leading others**—such as in a project manager or other leadership capacity—is mandatory and must be explicitly stated in the application. Strong communication skills and professional fluency in written and spoken English are required. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a STEM field, particularly electrical or power system engineering, familiarity with control system tools and programming languages such as PLC, SCADA, or DCS, and proficiency in Swedish. The selection process incorporates both a personality test and a cognitive test.

About the role
As a Test Manager, you will be responsible for developing test strategies and leading the planning and execution of testing activities. You will work actively with quality assurance and quality control to ensure that solutions meet both internal and external requirements. The role also includes team leadership, where you support and coordinate the work to achieve common goals. You will ensure that the work complies with applicable standards and regulations, while living up to the company’s core values of safety and integrity – meaning that you take responsibility for your actions and show care for both colleagues and the business.

We are looking for

It is a plus if you have

- Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
