Capgemini Engineering Sverige AB is seeking a **Verification & Validation Engineer - Automotive** to work with testing, verification, and validation of advanced vehicle systems, including autonomous and driver-assistance technologies. Working across passenger cars and heavy vehicles, the role involves operating test vehicles, performing and monitoring tests on proving grounds and public roads, and taking manual control when necessary. Responsibilities also include managing onboard measurement systems, collecting test data, documenting deviations, and supporting troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvements. Your role
We are looking for Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineers with strong background from the automotive industry, including heavy vehicles and passenger cars. In this role, you will work with testing, verification, and validation of advanced vehicle systems, including autonomous and driver-assistance technologies. As a V&V Engineer, you will play an important role in ensuring vehicle functionality, safety, and system performance throughout the development and testing process
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Perform and monitor vehicle tests in various environments, including proving grounds and public roads
- Operate test vehicles and take manual control when required
- Manage onboard measurement systems and collect test data
- Identify, document, and report deviations and system issues
- Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvements
Your profile
- Valid driving license (B required; C/CE is highly meritorious)
- Experience in automotive testing, V&V, or vehicle development
- Experience driving passenger cars and/or heavy vehicles in test environments
- Strong safety mindset with ability to stay focused during long test sessions
- Good technical understanding of vehicle systems, sensors, and data tools
Note: For this position you need to have a valid Swedish work permit and/or Swedish residency.
