Alten Sverige Aktiebolag is seeking a **Wiring Harness Engineer** for a consulting assignment with an automotive client. The role focuses on the development and integration of electrical distribution and wiring harness systems. Responsibilities span the complete product development lifecycle, involving both 2D schematic design and **3D packaging and installation** to ensure seamless vehicle electrical integration. Applicants must hold a **bachelor’s or master’s degree** in electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or equivalent. The position requires at least three years of automotive wiring harness design experience, including creating and maintaining 2D wiring schematics in Saber as well as 3D routing and installation design using CATIA V5 and/or Creo. Candidates need a solid understanding of vehicle electrical systems, alongside professional fluency in English, both written and spoken. Swedish language proficiency is considered an asset.

Your profile
We believe you have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience working with wiring harness design within the automotive industry
- Experience creating and maintaining 2D wiring schematics in Saber
- Experience with 3D routing, packaging, and installation design in CATIA V5 and/or Creo
- Experience working with wiring harness development throughout the product development lifecycle
- Understanding of vehicle electrical systems and harness integration
- Experience from working in the automotive industry.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Swedish language skills are meritorious.
